Global Blog Event Hop

I mostly write young adult (YA) fantasy. I’m not sure why; it’s always just sort of flowed.  Maybe I’m still just a silly shy seventeen year old with an affection for magic and fairy tales. Or maybe taking something old and putting a new spin on it, works for me. In “The Twistedly True Tale of Ruby Hood” (Little Red Riding Hood), my heroine is a high school senior about to face some of the biggest challenges of her young life. Then in “If the Silver Slippers Fit…”, my main character is the youngest daughter of Glinda the Good Witch of Oz, who also faces to many terrible fates.

OK, so I have a published book or two…now what?  These books aren’t going to sell themselves, so there must be the promotional portion of this new and intriguing process. I’ll be honest; the whole idea of self promotion is a new and uncomfortable process for me. I think branching out to others with similar interests, BOOKS, would be a great place to start! That’s why I am so excited to be a part of the Global Blog Event Hop! The fantastic Pressed Leaf Publishing is hosting this monumental event!
